Lovely sexy Regency romance, spirited characters and interesting subplot too. Well written and highly enjoyable for Regency romance fans, if more than a little implausible for the era. Roslyn Loring wants to marry a neighbouring Earl, so seeks lessons in seduction from a Duke who is a notorious rake. Guess who she ends up falling for?
Clue: in a Regency Romance, she’s not going to end up with an Earl if a Duke is on the scene (those unacquainted with the British aristocracy system, look up “peers of the realm” on Wikipedia). It would be like getting Bingley not Darcy.
Definitely recommend! I also read this before reading the first one in the series and it still made perfect sense.
