This is a fascinating time travel romance with numerous twists and turns. It will definitely keep you guessing and turning the pages. I thought the big reveal half way through was surprising enough, but the ending is even more startling.

The heroine, Vi, lives with her mother who suffers from some manic condition that isn’t consistently medicated. Due to this they live in near poverty and Vi’s only friend and neighbour is Dan, a brilliant scientist who has mentored her for the past decade.

Vi gets a job at a company which specialises in “temporal biology”, and soon starts falling for her boss Isaac. But even though Dan is quite a bit older than her, she has feelings for him too and becomes torn between them.

The big question in the novel is which man she’ll choose, but it’s a very complex and twisty story, involving several time travel-related paradoxes.
