I loved writing this novel! It was fascinating to explore the theme of someone struggling to stay true to his moral code, while falling in love with someone forbidden to him. It was also great fun to see the parallels to other great love stories, including Anne of Green Gables and The Sound of Music. I hope that readers enjoy reading is as much as I enjoyed writing it!
